Being that we’re snobby bay area natives, we always look forward to seeing the bay area Easter eggs in each of the Pixar movies. They’re usually short and sweet, but if you pay close attention and have lived in the bay long enough, you’ll be able to spot them (or read about them on the internet later). Fentons? Check. Merritt Bakery‘s hamburger cake? Check. Even Carl’s house was based on a Victorian near Sixth Street in Berkeley. Readers beware: there are spoilers, so don’t click if you haven’t seen the film yet!
