Korea, which has scored contracts to build railways in China, is hoping for another win with California’s high-speed rail line. According to the Korea Times, other contenders for the project could include China, Germany, Japan, and Italy. The story does note that Korea has a price advantage on Japan and France, though perhaps not so much on China, obviously. [Korea Times, via Curbed LA]
